Outline
The network BioFrankfurt was founded in 2004 and comprises currently 13 institutions. Their main objectives are:
- to attract notice to the outstanding impact of biodiversity and its conservation for human welfare, culture, and health
- to increase efficiency by bundeling the knowledge and experience of all participating institutions through cooperation and information transfer
- to publicise the exceptional commitment of institutions located in the Frankfurt area, especially in the areas of research, protection and education
